BUCKINGHAM & McVIE: Who Needs Stevie?

The wait is over as Lindsey Buckingham and Christine McVie release their first non-Fleetwood Mac album together today (Friday).

Simply titled Lindsey Buckingham / Christine McVie, it started out as a possible Mac album in 2014 when Christine rejoined the band, but quickly became a 10-song duet record when Stevie Nicks opted out of contributing new material to the project.

Mick Fleetwood and John McVie play on the album but won't be on the tour, which starts on June 21st in Atlanta.

Fleetwood Mac will come back together for performances at Classic West in Los Angeles on July 16th and Classic East in New York City on July 30th.

As for Stevie Nicks, her duet with Lana Del Rey, “Beautiful People, Beautiful Problems,” is out today on Lana’s new album, Lust for Life.
