In celebration of the Eagles' reunion for Classic West and Classic East this month, Rhino has combined Their Greatest Hits (1971-1975) and Greatest Hits, Vol. 2 and released it as a two-CD set.
While the combined set has no extras, just the 10 songs from each, the band gave their blessing to the release, which was not the case with the first hits collection in 1976.
A two-disc vinyl collection will be out on Friday. There's also talk of a 40th anniversary edition of Hotel California, although that actually came out in December 1976.
