DAVID BOWIE: Twin Peaks Future Up in the Air

We saw David Bowie in the recent TV reboot of Twin Peaks. And it looks like we'll get some more.

Executive producer Sabrina Sutherland said in a Reddit AMA that Bowie gave his OK for the clips, shot in 1992, to be used in the new production. While hinting that Bowie's character Philip Jeffries will return for the next season, Sutherland didn't divulge how that would be accomplished.

In a comment seemingly designed to drive online buzz, she said that the question [of future Bowie appearances] "should remain a mystery and not be answered."

  • Apparently, he was interested in the new series but concentrated his energy on finishing his final album, Blackstar, before he became too sick to work.
