FOREIGNER: One More Time for the Original Lineup

Foreigner has announced what we were the first to report last month -- the original lineup, in celebration of their 40th anniversary, will play two more shows -- on October 6th and 7th at the Soaring Eagle Casino in Mount Pleasant, Michigan.

The current lineup will be joined by original members Lou Gramm, Dennis Elliott, Al Greenwood and Ian McDonald, along with Rick Wills, who joined in 1979. Both shows will be captured for a TV special, DVD and album release. Each former member sat in for a show or two this summer.

Foreigner’s founder and guitarist Mick Jones says, “Playing alongside Lou, Dennis, Al, Ian and Rick again certainly brought back some special memories, and we decided it would be the ultimate celebration to join together on one stage, and give the fans the best possible farewell to our 40th anniversary.”

Foreigner just wrapped up a summer tour with Cheap Trick and Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience.
