With Heart on indefinite hiatus while Ann and Nancy Wilson try to repair the damage done after Ann's husband assaulted Nancy's sons, both sisters are keeping busy.
Nancy is touring, and she and her new band, Roadcase Royale, released the album First Things First last week. Ann, who is also on the road, says he's "scheduling studio time for some future releases."
But Ann also wants her fans to know about something else she's been working on. She says, "I've been mentoring a young lady who wants to be a drag racer. I have been impressed and inspired by her enthusiasm and passion."
The young girl is eight-year-old Abigail Williams. Along with her family and Ann and her husband, she formed the Straight Line Racing Team in Florida, where Ann now lives.
Ann will be back on the road starting October 19th for shows in Arkansas, Alabama and Louisiana.
