ROCK HALL: Who Goes In and Reactions

With this morning's announcement of the 2017 nominees for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, here is the answer about who exactly will gain entry into the Hall if inducted.

Jon Bon Jovi on being nominated for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame:

"I don't want to make any bones about it - I mean sure I would like to be because it means the acceptance of the peers, the peer group, this invisible group that vote you in. But I almost wish it was based on what people thought, as opposed to this secret group that nobody really knows who lets you into the Hall of Fame."

Dire Straits: Mark Knopfler, John Illsley, Pick Withers, David Knopfler, Alan Clark, Guy Fletcher -- this is their first nomination. We reached out to Mark Knopfler for a comment, but he is working on a new album and was unavailable.
