ROGER DALTREY, GRAHAM NASH: Join Together

Nash

Roger Daltrey performed in New York City last (Sunday) night and Graham Nash was in the audience.

Nash tells us the show, in which Daltrey sang The Who's Tommy backed by the New York Pops Orchestra, was excellent, with Roger in strong voice. The two men have shared the bill on a handful of TV shows and concerts -- including Woodstock -- but had never met until last night.

Nash ran into another fellow British musician in New York over the weekend: singer Terry Reid, who he's known since they were teenagers. Reid was Jimmy Page's first choice to be the singer in Led Zeppelin.

Nash and Reid did two songs together: "Brave Awakening" from Reid's 1976 album, Seed of Memory (which Nash sang on), and The Louvin Brothers' "My Baby's Gone."
