Peter Frampton is back with a new album yesterday (Friday).
All Bluesi is billed toThe Peter Frampton Band. It was recorded live in the studio,. with contributions on a few songs by guitarists Larry Carlton,Sonny Landreth and Steve Morse, along with Fabulous Thunderbirds singer-harmonica player Kim Wilson on "I Just Want to Make Love to You."
Frampton credits another guitarist in part for his decision to record a blues album. He says, "For the last two summers I had been playing a handful of blues numbers every night on stage with Steve Miller. I enjoyed this immensely and it gave me the idea of doing an 'All Blues' album live in the studio with my band."
