MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) —A teacher shortage that's become an issue all across the country has Mobile and Baldwin County schools scrambling to fill positions.
We found more than two dozen job openings in Mobile for certified teachers.
School is set to start on Tuesday.
Baldwin County has more than a dozen teaching jobs listed with a little more than a week to go.
Birmingham is feeling the pain too. They're offering $5,000 bonuses for teachers in special education, math and science.
