Skynyrd, Zepp, Styx, and more Rockin' Nuggets

Lynyrd Skynyrd: Last of the Street Survivors Farewell Tour, a film documenting their hometown show last year in Jacksonville, Florida, will be screened in theaters across the U.S. on November 7th. Tickets go on sale October 4th at Fathom Events.

Styx have started to roll out dates for 2020. Their annual run in the Southwest is set for January 10th in Phoenix through the 19th in Las Vegas. They start a fall tour on October 3rd in Sugar Land, Texas.

Kansas will go on a fourth and final leg of their Point of Know Return 40th anniversary tour from February 14th in North Charleston, South Carolina through May 30th in Little Rock, Arkansas. They’re also working on an album for release next year. Kansas are in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Friday.

Queensrÿche will headline the Verdict 2020tour, starting January 17th in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and ending February 27th in Orlando.

Mark Knopfler was profiled this week on CBS Sunday Morning. Among the topics discussed was why he pulled the plug on Dire Straits. He said it was because they "got so big." The segment has been posted on Knopfler's website. Knopfler finishes his Down the Road Wherevertour Wednesday night at New York's Madison Square Garden with Bonnie Raitt opening.

A new Led Zeppelin photo book will be released in Japan on Saturday.Led Zeppelin Live Tour in Japan 1971 and 1972contains previously unseen pictures taken at shows there in 1971 and 1972.
