LED ZEPPELIN II Released 50 Years Ago in America

Led Zeppelin released their second album --Led Zeppelin II-- 50 years ago today in America -- October 22nd, 1969.

Recorded in several studios in England and the U.S., it contains such classics as "Whole Lotta Love," "What Is and What Should Never Be," "The Lemon Song," "Thank You," "Heartbreaker," "Living Loving Maid (She's Just a Woman)," "Ramble On" and "Moby Dick."

The album was a huge success, and was their first one to top the charts in America and England. It has been certified in the U.S. for sales of more than 12-million.
