In case you missed it, you're getting another chance to read the words of Jimmy Page.
In 2010, Genesis Publications, the high-end U.K. publisher, released Jimmy Page by Jimmy Page, a limited-edition photo autobiography. All 2500 copies sold out immediately, so now they are publishing a more accessible and affordable printing of the book, to be released this October. Combined with Jimmy's own words, this new edition will contain more than 650 photos, each picked by Page, spread over 512 pages.
He says, "I’ve been asked on a number of occasions to do a written book and I thought of the other side of the coin. I thought it would be unique to have an autobiography in photographs, charting my whole musical journey."
Page also picked the cover photo, which is his 1977 passport photo shot by Neal Preston on board Led Zeppelin’s private tour plane.
