Adopted Sheep Thinks It's A Dog

A family in England adopted an orphaned lamb named Marley -- who thinks he’s a dog.

But don't blame Marley for this mistaken identity. When the Vaughans took him in, he spent so much time with the family Labrador retriever named Jess that he picked up all of the dog's mannerisms and habits. Just like his best friend Jess, he doesn't like to eat grass and doesn't like to be out in the cold, which is now a challenge for the family because Marley -- at six months old -- is so big that he needs to be moved outside.

And so, the family is doing their best to teach Marley how to be a proper sheep. Instead of taking him for walks on a leash, they're trying to get him to roam around freely with his sheep friends. And instead of eating his food from a bowl, they're trying to get him to graze in the pastures on their farm.

While the family is optimistic that they'll get Marley back to "normal" with his new sheep friends, Marley will always hold a special place in their hearts as a unique family pet -- and can visit Jess the Lab whenever he wants. (The Sun)
