TOM PETTY: First in 30 for 40

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers opened their 40th anniversary tour Thursday night in Oklahoma City with their first performance in over 30 years of “Rockin’ Around (With You),” the first song off their 1976 self-titled debut album.

After that it was pretty much hit after hit with a handful of deeper cuts tossed in like “Forgotten Man,” “Walls,” “Something Good Coming” and “Time to Move On.”

Show number-two, with Joe Walsh opening, is tomorrow (Saturday) in Dallas.
