U2: Branching Out to Their Most Loyal Fans

U2 are getting their money's worth out next month's 30th anniversary reissue of The Joshua Tree. They'll release -- just for subscribers to their website -- The Joshua Tree Singles Vinyl Collection: 1987 & 2017.

It's a four-disc vinyl set that contains the four original singles each on one side as they appeared on the album. Side two of each disc will have a live version soon to be recorded this year on the anniversary tour, which starts next Friday, May 12th, in Vancouver.

The label on each disc features previously unseen color portraits by Anton Corbijn, and the discs come in a sleeve capturing the original band member portrait from the seven-inch single cover, backed by a new live image from the 2017 shows.

The tracks are available only to subscribers, with the downloads available this summer and the physical four-disc set to follow in September.

The four singles are:

  1. "With or Without You" (1987) / "With or Without You" (Live 2017)
  2. "I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For" (1987) / "I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For" (Live 2017)
  3. "Where the Streets Have No Name" (1987) / "Where the Streets Have No Name" (Live 2017)
  4. "In God's Country" (1987) / "In God's Country" (Live 2017)
