JIMI HENDRIX: Lawsuit & Hollywood

Footage of the Jimi Hendrix Experience captured at London's Royal Albert Hall on February 18th and 24th, 1969 will remain locked away.

That was the ruling made by a three-judge panel in L.A. Superior Court on Monday, which says that it can't be released until Experience Hendrix, which oversees the late guitarist's estate, can come to a distribution agreement with The Last Experience, co-owners of the footage.

And, sticking with Hendrix, Brad Pitt tells GQ that Jimi may have written a song in his Los Angeles home. He says Hendrix used to hang out in the home, and that he may have written "Could This Be Love?" off of Are You Experienced near his pool. Pitt says, "I don't know if it's true, but a hippie came by and said he used to drop acid with Jim back there, so I run with the story."
