Did you know that over 200,000 women have fought in Iraq and Afghanistan? Included in that number are over 85,000 mothers who said goodbye to their husbands, sons and daughters to go overseas and fight for their country.
Move America Forward is busy sending out care packages to our moms who are serving overseas to keep their families back home safe! People all around the country are coming together and making donations or doing whatever they can to help the troops overseas, especially the moms, since Mother's Day is this Sunday May 14th! It's true that our military moms who are out there serving in Afghanistan will have no opportunity to be pampered by their husbands, or receive that construction paper, crayon-written, macaroni-glued Mother's Day card from their kids.
