You're going to want to hear this story before you climb onto your floaty for some relaxation in the pool.
A Texas woman was hanging out in her backyard pool when all of a sudden, from beneath the chlorinated abyss, appeared the head of a snake. As you'd expect, Julee Ware freaked out and scrambled to get out of the water as the large snake began to swim laps around her. She made it out safely and then grabbed her phone in time to take video of the unwelcome swimmer climbing out of the pool and slithering into the bushes.
Ware later told a local TV station, "I'm a grandmother of six, and I don't swim with snakes. My husband is still laughing." Experts believe the intruder was likely a harmless western rat snake. (UPI)
