As Mick Jones told us earlier this month, there will be another reunion of the original Foreigner lineup this year in celebration of the band's 40th anniversary. Last month, a Foreigner show in suburban New York City included appearances by Lou Gramm, Al Greenwood and Ian McDonald.
But Mick is not abandoning the current incarnation of the band: the show in early October outside of Detroit will bring everyone on stage at the same time. It will be filmed and recorded.
Original bass player Ed Gagliardi died in 2014.
