Sgt. Pepper Cover: Celebrities We've Lost This Year

Sgt Pepper passed celebs

Tom Petty was no stranger to The Beatles, having been friends with George Harrison, and now he's been immortalized in a new painting of the iconic cover of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heart Club Band album.

British artist Chris Barker has once again re-created Peter Blake's 1967 original with celebrities we lost this year. Joining Petty are Fats Domino, Chuck Berry, Chris Cornell, Jerry Lewis, Mary Tyler Moore, Gord Downie of The Tragically Hip, Happy Days star Erin Moran, Robert Guillaume, Bill Paxton, Al Jarreau, Don Rickles, Linkin Park's Chester Bennington, Martin Landau, Hugh Hefner, Harry Dean Stanton, Adam West, Roger Moore and Glen Campbell. Noticeably absent is Gregg Allman.

Barker also paid tribute to the victims of the Las Vegas massacre by putting in the Mandalay Bay Hotel behind the collage.
