Bob Seger releases a new album today. I Knew You When is his 18th studio effort, the first since 2014's Ride Out. Seger has been on Capitol Records for 49 years now, which is a record for solo artists in the storied label’s history.
The album is dedicated to his late friend Glenn Frey. A deluxe edition, which has three bonus tracks, includes one titled "Glenn Song." Seger also pays tribute to Leonard Cohenwith a cover of Cohen's "Democracy." The first single is a cover of Lou Reed's "Busload of Faith."
