THE WHO, PINK FLOYD: Next Generation of Rock Fans

Where is the next generation of rockers going to come from? A New Jersey baby products company called Daphyl's has one idea -- get 'em hooked on rock merchandise before they can even walk.

They've signed licensing deals with about a half dozen of rock's most iconic artists and are now marketing:

  • A line of strollers emblazoned with the cover art of Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moonand the logo of now-defunct metal monsters Pantera.
  • Sippy cups featuring The Beatles' yellow submarine, the Grateful Dead logo over a pattern of dancing teddy bears in psychedelic color and The Who's old Union Jack design.
  • Mirror toys featuring band logos babies can stare at along with their own reflections.
  • And coming soon, bibs, so you can wipe their chins with Jimi Hendrix, Elvis Presley and all the others.

The products are on sale at Target, Bed Bath and Beyond and Amazon.com.
