Goodbye Yellow Brick Road -- Elton John is retiring from touring.
Details are scarce, but he's set to make an official announcement at 12:30 ET today (Wednesday) -- and it will stream live on EltonJohn.com. In a tweet yesterday (Tuesday) plugging the announcement, he wrote, "You'll finally see where the future lies..."
Elton had a major health scare on the road last year when he contracted a serious bacterial infection in South America.
He's scheduled to resume his Las Vegas residency on February 9th. (Mirror (U.K.))
