LED ZEPPELIN: Something Old, Nothing New

Jimmy Page says we should look for a "new" album of old live Led Zeppelinthis year, but that "the time has gone" for them to do anything new together, including any more reunion shows.

In a cover story that comes out Friday in the British magazine Planet Rock, Page describes the live recording as "different to all the other things that are out there -- another view compared to" their previous officially released live albums. Its release will follow the March 29th reissue of the career-spanning How the West Was Won live compilation. Page says there will "for sure" be more up-till-now unavailable Zeppelin "coming out over the next 10 years."

Page is also "really pleased" that the band members are all "collectively" involved in the new Led Zeppelin book that will be out in October. He claims to know of about 10 other books that are on the way, which he calls "pretty ridiculous!" He says it will be "really good to have an authoritative book, where the band are actually contributing to it rather than being ripped off.” (Music Week)

Ever scene these girls?  Nice job.
