Someone in Las Vegas seemed to want to speed up Elton John's retirement.
On Wednesday night, an audience member at his residency threw what looked like Mardi Gras beads at him as he was in the middle of "Saturday Night's Alright for Fighting." Elton paused for a short while and seemed to be checking his mouth for broken teeth or other injuries. But then he picked the song back up.
It happened right after he'd invited the front row onstage, and one of those people was apparently the culprit. (TMZ)
