Another former KISS insider is writing a book about his exploits with the band and a few other acts.
Big John Harte, their bodyguard in the glory days, has written a book about his time with them, Iron Maiden, Billy Idol, Prince and others. Original KISS drummer Peter Crisshas endorsed it, saying, "Big John is a beloved character. I love him. He is a survivor and the real deal. John just being there made a difference. We were only a few, but with John we were an army!”
Harte has self-published the book and is making it available through PledgeMusic so he can "include all the stories he wanted and not be restricted by a publisher."
