Doobie Brothers frontman Tom Johnston and former guitarist Jeff "Skunk" Baxter rocked out for charity last weekend.
They joined Mickey Thomas of Starship, Mister Mister's Richard Page, longtime Chicago member Jason Scheff, Richard Marx and The Romantics' Wally Palmar in the Friday night jam session at the eighth annual Patrick Warburton Celebrity Golf Tournament in Palm Desert, California. Between its musical events and a Saturday celebrity auction, it raised $2.5 million for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
