Jon Bon Jovi made a point of acknowledging that Bon Jovi's 2016 album This House Is Not for Sale had returned to the top of the Billboard album chart this month -- even though it was mainly because everyone who bought a ticket to their 2018 tour got a free copy.
When it happened, he posted a photo on Instagram of him cutting a cake decorated with album cover and the caption, "Another #1 Album. This piece is for all the Bon Jovi fans out there that continue to make this possible."
Well, Jon surely won't have anything to say about the album's plummeting from number-one to number-168 in one week, the steepest-ever drop in chart history, 96 percent. And it broke its own record. This House nosedived 84 slots in its second week of release in 2016.
Bon Jovi start the next leg of their This House Is Not for Sale tour tomorrow night (Wednesday) in Denver.
