Honda is attempting to reclaim the title of “World’s Fastest Lawnmower” with a machine they’re calling the Mean Mower V2 which can -- supposedly -- hit a top speed of 134 miles per hour.
In 2014, Honda earned the title with a mower that reached speeds of almost 117 mph. The following year, some Norwegians won the title from Honda. Now Honda is back.
Engineers there transplanted an engine from their Fireblade SP superbike into a lawnmower, which gets 405-horsepower, 13,000 rpm and 106 pound-feet of torque. (The Drive)
