JIMMY PAGE: Another Old Album to Dust Off?

Page

Jimmy Page keeps promising to do something new, but all we've gotten from him the past few years are Led Zeppelin and Yardbirds reissues. And, if David Coverdale has anything to say, his 1993 album with the guitarist, Coversdale-Page, could be next.

Speaking to Eddie Trunk, Coverdale says he was hoping he and Page could work on it now, in the spring, but Coverdale was busy with the new Whitesnake album, Flesh and Blood, which will be out soon.

He adds that should it come together it may include "four or five extra songs" plus a documentary. "I filmed the whole process from the first day Jimmy and I sat down to write music at my house in Lake Tahoe. So there's enough stuff to make it a really interesting package for the fans."

Up next for Page is Friday's re-release of Led Zeppelin's 2003 live album, How the West Was Won. Coverdale and Whitesnake will tour this summer with Foreigner and Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Evening.
