Yes -- the remnants of the original lineup -- have announced the U.S. dates of their 50th anniversary tour.
Steve Howe, Alan White, Geoff Downes, Billy Sherwood and Jon Davison will start things off on June 5th in St. Charles, Illinois, and for now the tour will go through July 28th in Atlanta, although we expect more dates to be announced.
Howe says, "We want to mark this anniversary with a tour that encompasses some of our best-loved work and revisit a few classic pieces that have been lost for a while. We look forward to sharing the 50th anniversary with the fan base, playing classic songs that celebrate the broad musical style of Yes."
And drummer Alan White, the other longest-serving member of the band, adds, "I have been blessed to be a member of this amazing band's rhythm section for the past 46 years, mostly in the company of my great friend Chris Squire, and latterly alongside Chris's chosen successor, Billy Sherwood... Each night we are pausing to reflect on Chris's importance to Yes, his desire that we should continue to share Yes music on stages worldwide, and the specific dedication of 'Onward' to his huge memory."

The other version of Yes, with Jon Anderson, Trevor Rabin and Rick Wakeman, will also announce a U.S. tour soon.
