ERIC CLAPTON: 12 Bars Gets Home Release and Soundtrack

The Eric Clapton documentary Life in 12 Bars will get a home video release, along with a soundtrack.

The DVD and Blu-ray of the film and the digital and two-CD versions of the soundtrack will be out on June 8th, with a four-LP version on July 20th. The soundtrack has 32 songs, with recordings of songs by The Yardbirds, John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers, Cream, Blind Faith, Derek and the Dominos, The Beatles, George Harrison, Aretha Franklin and Muddy Waters, plus Clapton’s solo career. Five of the tracks are previously unreleased, including the first-ever release of the entire full-length recording of "I Shot The Sheriff" from the 461 Ocean Boulevard sessions.
