Ex-Rainbow and Deep Purple singer Joe Lynn Turner was hospitalized over the weekend after having a heart attack.
RIA, the Russian state media website, reported that Turner had suffered a “myocardial infarction” and was in a stable condition in a Minsk, Belarus hospital. Turner's friend Graham Bonnet later confirmed the heart attack and said he and his band wished Turner "a complete and speedy recovery. We love you, Joe."
The 66 year-old Turner is married to a lawyer from Belarus.
