LYNYRD SKYNYRD: The Beginning of the End

Lynyrd Skynyrd kicked off the Last of the Street Survivors Farewell Tour on Friday at Coral Sky Amphitheater in West Palm Beach, Florida.

The group began its hit-filled 16-song set with "Skynyrd Nation," ended it with "Sweet Home Alabama," and encored with "Free Bird." You can check out video of much of the show on YouTube.

Skynyrd also took the stage Saturday in Tampa. With the band only playing Friday and Saturday shows on the trek, the next shows are Friday in Dallas and Saturday in Houston.

  • They'll go out in style in what will likely be their final show in their hometown Jacksonville, Florida by playing a stadium show on September 2nd with Kid Rock and Jason Aldean at EverBank Field, the home of the Jacksonville Jaguars.
