Elton John brings his Million Dollar Piano residency in Las Vegas to a close after tonight's (Thursday) performance.
Combined with his previous residency, The Red Piano, which debuted in 2004, tonight's show will be his 450th performance at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace for a total audience of more than 1.8 million. That's the most shows he's performed in one venue.
He did 243 Red Piano shows and 207 Million Dollar Piano performances. The Million Dollar Piano run started in 2011 and featured 20 songs from 11 albums and one non-album single.
Elton now turns his attention to a few dates in Europe this summer before embarking on his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour on September 8th in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
