ROGER DALTREY: 26 Years Later

Roger Daltrey does something today (Friday) he hasn't done in 26 years -- release a new solo studio album.

Roger Daltrey on his new solo album, As Long as I Have You, which is out today (Friday):

Pete Townshend plays on seven of the 11 tracks on As Long as I Have You, and Roger says it was Pete who "convinced [him] that it was great" when Daltrey thought of abandoning the sessions after contracting viral meningitis in 2015.

Included on the album are covers of the Stephen Stills - Manassas song "How Far" and Stevie Wonder's "You Haven't Done Nothing."

As Long as I Have You is Daltrey's first solo album since 1992's Rocks in the Head.
