Paul Rodgers has a new album out today (Friday).

Free Spirit – Celebrating the Music of Free, recorded May 28th of last year at London's Royal Albert Hall during his Free Spirit tour, is a celebration of the music of Free, his band before Bad Company.

Rodgers says, “I have been making music for a long, long, long time, so to get super-charged and re-inspired to perform was a revelation. I loved the Free Spirit tour and...I hope you feel it too, Just lose yourself in the music and let it fuel your soul.”

The album is available on CD/DVD, Blu-ray and vinyl, and across digital platforms.

Rodgers will perform songs from the album this summer on his Stars Align tour with Jeff Beck and Ann Wilson starting July 18th in West Valley City, Utah.

Paul Rodgers describes Free:

Rounding out Free were guitarist Paul Kossoff (deceased), bassist Andy Fraser(deceased) and drummer Simon Kirke, who went on to form Bad Company with Rodgers.
