Paul Simon brought up a special guest to duet with him on "Bye Bye Love" last night (Wednesday) in Nashville -- and no, it wasn't Art Garfunkel.
Don Everly, who made the original recording of the song with his late brother Phil, joined Simon during his second encore. Simon introduced the 81-year-old by saying, "All of my heroes are dead except one...Don Everly." When they were done he quipped, "Well, that made my night. I got to be Phil Everly for a night." There's video of their performance on YouTube.
