FOREIGNER, WHITESNAKE, JBLZE: All in the Family for Bonham

Jason Bonham says that for him the Jukebox Heroes Tour is kind of a family thing.

His Led Zeppelin Evening opens the shows for Whitesnake and Foreigner, and Bonham has longtime connections with both bands. He explains how his dad, the late John Bonham of Led Zeppelin, established his connection with Whitesnake.

Jason Bonham was actually the drummer of Foreigner from 2004 through 2008. He talks about a funny thing about him being in that band, and what kind of band he feels they are to this day.

In the run up to the tour, which began on June 15th, Bonham was filmed interviewing Foreigner guitarist Mick Jones and singer Kelly Hanson, along with Whitesnake singer David Coverdale. You can find the video on YouTube.

The Juke Box Heroes Tour comes to Jiffy Lube Live in Bristow, Virginia on Friday and PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, New Jersey on Saturday.
