CLASH: Strummer Box in September

Clash

A new Joe Strummer collection focuses on his time outside The Clash.

Joe Strummer 001 contains 11 unreleased tracks as well as various soundtrack songs, cuts from all of his solo albums and a few songs from his pre-Clash group, The 101ers. It's due out September 28th in a two-disc set, in a four-record set, digitally and in a deluxe box set. The deluxe set adds a seven-inch single with two unreleased demos from 1984 and a cassette called the U.S. North Basement Demo from 1986 that features Strummer and his Clash bandmate Mick Jones working on songs that ended up on Big Audio Dynamite's 1986 album No. 10, Upping Street.
