Rod Stewart's 30th Album Out In September

Rod Stewart will release his 30th studio album -- and first in three years -- on September 28th.

Blood Red Roses, his debut on Republic Records, is a 13-track collection with 10 original songs, and is co-produced by Rod’s longtime collaborator Kevin Savigar. It showcases a variety of musical styles: acoustic-driven folk, Motown-tinged pop/R&B, straight-ahead rock and roll, and heart-melting ballads.

The first single, "Didn’t I," is about the damage drugs can do from a parents’ point of view.  Rod says, "I always think I make albums for a few friends, and this record has that intimacy... Sincerity and honesty go a long way in life, and the same is true in songwriting."
