Jeff Lynne's ELO, in which he and keyboardist Richard Tandy are the only original members, began a U.S. tour Thursday in Oakland, California.
Jeff led the band through 20 classic songs, even "Handle With Care" from his days with The Traveling Wilburys.
ELO's last U.S. tour was 37 years ago, in support of the 1981 album Time. Lynne attempted to mount an ELO arena tour in 2001, but it was canceled due to soft ticket sales.
Demand has improved since the band's induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last year and a PBS special captured in London's Hyde Park.
The last of the 10 shows will take place August 24th in Philadelphia.
