GUNS N' ROSES: Slash Seems Down for New Music

Slash

One of the biggest questions about the Guns n' Roses reunion with Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan is if this lineup will make any new music. According to Slash, everybody is definitely up for it.

He tells Classic Rock, “I think everybody thinks it’s a good idea, and everybody would like to do it. There’s no shortage of ideas from everybody involved, but we’ve been so busy on the road there hasn’t really been time to go in and sit down and go, ‘Okay, we’re going to make a record.’”

Slash adds that the lengthy GNR break had this year allowed him to make his album with The Conspirators. "When it comes down to it, a riff is a riff. It could work in either [band]. But with The Conspirators, anything I come up with, Myles Kennedy will come up with something -- and that’s why it’s such a diverse record."

Slash's latest album with Kennedy and the Conspirators, Living the Dream, is due out September 21st.
