Aerosmith (Seemingly) Not Excited About A New Album

Aerosmith

Since Aerosmith's last album, 2012's Music From Another Dimension, the band has been asked if they would be up for writing and recording new music.

Last year, the band went into a London studio to work on a new Joe Perry song, which Brad Whitford said was "very rock and roll," but added that he did not believe they would be making another album. "It feels like the age of singles again. Everyone is recording singles rather than albums. You don't have to record a whole CD anymore. So, hopefully, we can put out this one song or two or three."

And, not long before that, Perry said, "We definitely have another record in us, if not two. But we’ll see how that goes.”

Apparently it's not going in that direction as Perry recently told Eddie Trunk on Sirius-XM.

We'll have to wait until April and their Deuces Are Wild residency at the MGM Park Theater in Las Vegas to see what they agreed on.
