John Mellencamp has a new album on the way.
Other People’s Stuff is a collection of historical songs he's done over the years. Mellencamp says, "Most, if not all, of the songs on Other People’s Stuff come from the Great American Songbook, These are songs that have been recorded over the last 40 years of my career, but had never been put together as one piece of work. Now, they have.”
Along with the nine songs by others is one new track, “Eyes on the Prize,” which he originally performed at a civil rights event at the White House in 2010.
Other People's Stuff will be out on December 7th.
