FOREIGNER: Revisiting Old Demos

It's been five years since Mick Jones and Lou Gramm of Foreigner were inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. And, in those five years, they've discussed possibly writing songs together again. If it happens, Gramm tells USA Today that they have some songs they can build upon.

"Mick and I had about five or six songs that we were working on when we parted [ways in 2003]. I still have the the demos of those songs, and we listened to them again a few months ago and they still sound good to us. So we may pick a few of those up and then work on some new ideas."

Jones adds that it could be an "interesting little project for next year. The rest of the time, we'll be touring our [butts] off."

Jones is referring to the current Foreigner line-up, which Gramm and the other original members -- drummer Dennis Elliott, keyboardist Al Greenwood, bassist Rick Wills and guitarist/saxophonist Ian McDonald -- will join for shows in Los Angeles this Friday followed by Rancho Mirage, California on Saturday, Atlantic City, New Jersey on November 30th and Uncasville, Connecticut on December 1st.

The shows are in celebration of the 40th anniversary of their second album, 1978's Double Vision.
