It looks like Alex Lifeson has lined up his first full project since Rush retried from the road three years ago.
Drummer Marco Minnemann writes on Facebook that he and the guitarist are working on a "collaborative release" and has shared an illustration of the two done by artist Tom Colbie. The collaboration isn't that much of a surprise, since Lifeson played guitar on three songs on Minnemann's 2017 solo album Borrego.
Since Rush quit the road, all three members have kept a low profile. Geddy Lee has the biggest project on tap among the three -- Geddy Lee's Big Beautiful Book of Bass will be published on December 18th.
