Ringo Starr will commemorate 30 years of his All-Starr Band with a 2019 tour.
Joining him once again are Steve Lukather, Colin Hay, Gregg Rolie, Warren Ham, Gregg Bissonette and, back on bass, former All-Starr member Hamish Stuart.
The first leg begins in March with one U.S. show on March 21st at Harrah’s Resort in Funner, California before the band heads to Japan.
The North American tour will begin in proper on August 1st in Windsor, Ontario and run through September 1st in Los Angeles.Two of the shows -- August 3rd and 4th outside Chicago -- will be on a bill with The Beach Boys. The full itinerary will be announced soon.
Ringo's first All-Starr Band tour was in August 1989. The lineup was Billy Preston, Joe Walsh, Levon Helm, Rick Danko. Dr. John, Clarence Clemons, Nils Lofgren and Jim Keltner.
