Graham Nash made a surprise appearance with indie rock icons Yo La Tengo at the first of their Hanukkah run of shows Sunday night at New York's Bowery Ballroom.
The group's encores were a tribute to songwriter and 10CC member Graham Gouldman, and they started with a cover of "For Your Love" by The Yardbirds. Then Nash came out and sang lead on "Look Through Any Window" and "Bus Stop" from one of his Rock and Roll Hall of Fame bands, The Hollies.
Nash told us in an email that when Yo La Tengo approached him about doing the two songs it "sounded like fun" and added that "I hadn't sung 'Look Through Any Window' for 55 years."
