Steve Van Zandt has commented on Bruce Springsteen’s statement Tuesday night that he will not tour with the E Street Band next year. He says, “Couldn’t be happier with his statement. Just making it clear we had nothing to do with it [spreading the report that we will tour]. He obviously sees what’s going on. Very pleased he cleared that up for everybody.”

Mick Jones of The Clash will serve as “narrator” for the 15th album by The Flaming Lips, Kings Mouth. Lips frontman Wayne Coyne says that Jones appears on “almost every song.” The album will be out April 20th.
