Steve Van Zandt has commented on Bruce Springsteen’s statement Tuesday night that he will not tour with the E Street Band next year. He says, “Couldn’t be happier with his statement. Just making it clear we had nothing to do with it [spreading the report that we will tour]. He obviously sees what’s going on. Very pleased he cleared that up for everybody.”

Mick Jones of The Clash will serve as “narrator” for the 15th album by The Flaming Lips, Kings Mouth. Lips frontman Wayne Coyne says that Jones appears on “almost every song.” The album will be out April 20th.

John Fogerty has booked another residency at the Wynn Las Vegas: six shows from April 10th through the 20th.

Eric Clapton has released a lyric video for "Home for the Holidays” off his new album, Happy Xmas.

KISS, Def Leppard, Slash, STP, Whitesnake, ZZ Top and Lynyrd Skynyrd will play Hellfest in Clisson, France in June.
